For Vhuthu Ramabulana, accounting has always been about more than numbers; it is about accountability, transparency and helping organisations build systems that support responsible decision-making.
Vhuthu is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and the Founder of Ravhu Chartered Accountants. Her professional journey began at the Auditor-General of South Africa, where she completed her SAICA articles and developed a deep understanding of financial reporting, audit processes and governance within public sector institutions.
Working closely with municipalities, government departments and public entities gave her first-hand insight into the importance of strong financial systems, effective internal controls and ethical leadership. This experience shaped her approach to finance, one grounded in integrity, accountability and the pursuit of reliable financial information.
Over the years, Vhuthu expanded her experience beyond audit into financial accounting, compliance reviews and advisory roles. In these positions she has helped organisations strengthen internal control environments, resolve complex audit findings and improve the quality of financial reporting presented to leadership, oversight bodies and regulators.
Today, as the founder of Ravhu Chartered Accountants, she brings together this experience to support organisations that value strong governance and responsible financial management.
Vhuthu is a Registered Tax Practitioner and Level 2 Xero Certified Professional, and she continues to build her expertise in governance, risk, compliance, tax and financial reporting. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa.
Known for her discipline, perseverance and strong work ethic, Vhuthu approaches every engagement with professionalism and attention to detail. She believes that reliable financial reporting and strong governance structures are essential foundations for organisations that seek to create lasting impact.
